Users of WSI’s mature OnAlert system can benefit from having EAS and National Weather Service warnings relayed automatically to the Tone Alert Radios in addition to the custom messages that are created. Certain routine tasks like weekly and monthly tests can be ran on a schedule for TARs and RF Systems such as outdoor warning sirens.

AdaptAlert activation systems can be configured to provide dynamic Text-To-Speech services to other dissemination systems. The synthesized audio can be previewed if desired and distributed to other downstream recipients. The pronunciation can be phonetically trained to compensate for regional differences and multiple languages can be configured.

All of WSI’s activation systems can be activated directly, or by receiving a CAP message from another alert and warning system. This allows disparate communications systems to be utilized homogeneously from a single point of activation which eliminates duplication of efforts during time sensitive activations.

Example: Customer has an existing text messaging and e-mail alert system. Adding a WSI activation system will allow the existing system to expand its reach to other technologies such as outdoor sirens, TARS, and 2-way radios with audio distribution where applicable.
